Posted on September 14th, 2011 No commentsIndex is based on December 1980 average prices as 100; Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics A material recovery facility (MRF) operator in the Midwest describes markets for secondary plastics as “all over the board,” depending on the type of material, adding that things are “definitely kind of rough” for some resins. He says post-industrial HDPE (high-density polyethylene) still fetches 30 cents per pound “if you know where to sell it.” However, pricing for post-consumer HDPE ranges from 15 to 20 cents, again depending on the market.

All Source Opens Texas Warehouse

According to a news release issued by All Source, “Document destruction shredding companies, record management companies, suppliers and local businesses gathered for the ribbon ceremony at the grand opening.” Pete Pancel, All Source president and general manager, was joined at the event by members of the Canadian/American Chamber of Commerce and the Irving Chamber of Commerce “Texas asked for it and we delivered on it,” said Pancel, who said the facility will supply “everyday low prices on the highest quality security containers in the document destruction industry, readily available, in any quantity”. The Irving location is part of a larger North American distribution and logistics network operated by All Source.

Data Storage Group Receives Patent for Data Deduplication Technology

In a press release, DataStor claims that its software-based approach, known as Adaptive Content Factoring, offers significant advancements and operational efficiencies in data backup and archival storage for small to medium-sized businesses
