The Society of Plastics Engineers has given its Winning the Plastics Recycling Technologies and Applications Award to Canton, Mass.-based Sika Sarnafil , for its roof recycling program. Through the program, the company recovers and recycles roofing membrane into new roofing products

The Basel Action Network (BAN), based in Seattle, has announced two corporations, Nestle and Bloomberg LP, have signed on as members of BAN’s e-Stewards Enterprises. Deceuninck North America, a designer and manufacturer of systems for windows, doors, interiors and outdoor living, based in Monroe, Ohio, has partnered with JP Industrial (JPI), Lisbon, Ohio, to introduce a comprehensive recycling program for its customers. JPI says it is the largest recycler of PVC materials nationwide.
