Liquid Technology Named an e-Stewards Enterprise
Posted on January 5th, 2012 No commentsLiquid Technology , a computer liquidation, computer recycling and data destruction company headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y., recently obtained ISO 14001 certification and was named an e-Stewards Enterprise. ISO 14001 is a voluntary certification requiring that an organization put in place and implement a series of practices and procedures that result in an environmental management system. According to a release, the company says a number of ways it will meet the commitment is by ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations, and to continuously improve electronic scrap management practices and reduce consumption of natural resources

Nestlé, Bloomberg Join BAN’s e-Stewards Enterprises Group

The two companies join LG Electronics, NVIDIA, Capitol One, Samsung, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Alcoa as e-Stewards Enterprise members

HP offers data integrity enhancements to CMS
Posted on October 17th, 2010 No commentsHP Enterprise Services has been awarded a task order worth up to $26 million by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to maintain its Integrated Data Repository (IDR) and provide data quality services to improve the accuracy of Medicare payment data. The task order is in support of the agency's administration of the Medicare and Medicaid electronic health records incentive programs created by the HITECH Act.
