Freedom Metals Acquires Bates Iron and Metal
Posted on January 6th, 2012 No commentsFreedom Metals, a Louisville, Ky., scrap metal recycler, has announced the acquisition of Bates Iron and Metal, located in West Liberty, Ky. Gary Bates, former owner of Bates Iron and Metal, will join Freedom as general manager of the new facility.

TMK IPSCO Breaks Ground on Expansion
Posted on January 4th, 2012 No commentsOfficials with TMK IPSCO and Ferrous Metals processing have broken ground on an expansion of a project in Wilder, Ky. The expansion is expected to include a $27.6 million investment at the facility.
