SMS and MEC have created a new joint venture (JV) entity called Scrapstone Intermodal Services LLC to oversee the new fleet as well as to consider future intermodal opportunities.

Steel mill buyers of ferrous scrap on the spot market continued to pay more than $500 per ton for prompt grades in July, according to the Raw Material Data Aggregation Service (RMDAS) of Management Science Associates (MSA), Pittsburgh. Alabama Medicaid provides doctors with e-prescribing tool

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., an information technology service provider based in Dallas, developed the e-prescribing technology as part of its QTool Web-based electronic health record and clinical support tool.
