The South Carolina Smart Business Recycling Program has recognized eight companies operating in the state that have demonstrated outstanding programs in regards to recycling and waste reduction programs. This year’s honorees are the following: AbundaTrade.com of Charleston; CDA Architects, Columbia; Palmetto Primary Physicians, Berkeley; Charleston and Dorchester counties; SAGE Automotive Interiors, Greenville; and The Timken Company, Anderson.

According to a press release issued by Cintas Corp. , Cincinnati, Chrysler Group LLC has chosen the company to provide the automaker with document destruction services at its Auburn Hills, Mich., headquarters. Cintas says it will roll out its Cintas SmartShred program by placing 1,800 secure shredding bins throughout Chrysler’s headquarters facility
