Harsco Signs Long-Term Contract with TISCO

SSA taps Accenture for health IT work
Posted on October 4th, 2010 No commentsThe U.S. Social Security Administration will pay Accenture $2.8 billion to serve as main contractor for acquiring IT systems and modernization services. The scope of the contract underscores SSA's increasing need for health information technology, officials say, as the data contained in electronic health records will enable disability claims and other entitlement program determinations.
