CH Mack, based in Cincinnati, has announced that Volunteer State Health Plan of Tennessee has selected the company to implement its Q Continuum System care management software suite, designed to enhance care coordination for the state’s long-term care population.

NetChoice: Parental Consent Law Will Stifle E-Commerce

According to Internet lobbying group NetChoice, it’s a Maine measure that next month will require Web sites to obtain parental consent from 14- to 17-year-olds before collecting from them even rudimentary personal information.”The Maine law imposes severe limitations on all Web sites that serve teenagers,” said NetChoice in explaining its decision to put the law at the top of the list. “At the very end of its session, the Maine legislature voted to require Web sites to obtain ‘verifiable parental consent’ before collecting personal information from teens.

Bank of America, Citigroup Reissue Cards After Breach
Posted on August 12th, 2009 No commentsMassachusetts Customers Impacted by Unidentified IncidentTwo US banks recently reissued new credit and debit cards to Massachusetts customers after a data breach at an unnamed merchant. Bank of America and Citigroup both issued replacement cards and notified customers that their account numbers may have been compromised.
