Identity theft costs UK £2.7bn a year
Posted on October 19th, 2010 No commentsIdentify fraud is hitting nearly two million people in the UK each year, costing £2.7bn, according to the latest figures from the National Fraud Authority (NFA). The NFA estimates 1.8 million people have their identities stolen each year, but most are not aware that they have been targeted.
