Posted on February 16th, 2011 No commentsBeginning March 1, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will require photo identification when applicants request vital records. The department is imposing the new regulation to help prevent identity theft of those in the records.

‘Red flags’ delay gives docs time to test applicability – Modern Healthcare
Posted on May 8th, 2009 No commentsHospitals and physicians have another three months before they are held accountable for complying with what’s called the “red flags” rule, intended to compel financial institutions and creditors to help prevent identity theft, though doctors have yet to give up arguing that the regulation shouldn’t apply to them in the first place.
