TMS International Receives 2001 Global Slag Environmental Award

TMS International Corp., Pittsburgh, the parent company of Tube City IMS Corp., has announced its Jewett, Texas, operation received the 2011 Global Slag Environmental Award from PRo Publications International Ltd., Surrey, U.K. The award recognizes superior environmental performance and was presented by the organizers of the Global Slag Conference and Exhibition, held in Helsinki, Finland, according to Robert McCaffrey, director of PRo Publications International Ltd.

NACCO Receives Carolina Star Safety Award

UNTHA Shredding Technology Receives Award

UNTHA Shedding Technology GmbH , a Germany-based equipment manufacturer, has announced that it has been awarded the 2010 Salzburg Business Prize for Innovation. Alois Kitzberger, UNTHA CEO, and Christian Lanner, head of engineering management for the company, accepted the award during a ceremony held at Salzburg (Germany) University of Applied Sciences’ lecture hall. UNTHA received the award for its TR Series of secondary waste shredders.
