Missouri to require photo ID for vital records requests
Posted on February 16th, 2011 No commentsBeginning March 1, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will require photo identification when applicants request vital records. The department is imposing the new regulation to help prevent identity theft of those in the records.

EHR Association offers ‘meaningful use’ recommendations
Posted on July 14th, 2009 No commentsThe Electronic Health Records Association has released recommendations to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology on measurable criteria for achieving “meaningful use” of EHRs. A second draft of the definition of “meaningful use” is expected at the HIT policy committee’s workgroup meeting, which is slated for July 16.
