Allshred Services , a secure destruction firm based in Maumee, Ohio, has purchased and installed a new dust collection system using a safety grant from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. Air sample tests taken on May 3, 2011, after the mid-April installation of the system, compared with tests taken in November of 2010 show significantly lower particulate levels, which Allshred says are now well below the applicable OEL (occupational exposure level) for PNOC (particulates not otherwise classified) and the more conservative recommended level of 5 milligrams per cubic meter, which is prescribed specifically to prevent upper respiratory symptoms in paper recycling operation workers. Tom Huth, executive vice president of operations, says, “It’s a relief to have the breathing zones of our workers improved significantly with the addition of the dust collection system.

Dear Ms. Ciechanowiecki,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the MicroShred Corporation for volunteering your services to partner with us to co-host the Shred-A-Thon at the Boca Town Center Mall on April 23, 2011. Please express our appreciation to your hardworking staff, Kris, James and Rosemary for their contribution to making the event run smoothly.
Identity theft prevention is at the forefront of our crime prevention initiatives. Impressively, 185 residents took advantage of your service, which resulted in the destruction of over 8 tons of personal documents being destroyed.
With your partnership, we helped individuals to take a key step in identity theft protection and hopefully, they will educate their family, friends and neighbors to do the same. We are indeed grateful for your support and look forward to partnering with you again in the near future.
